Zürich files Vol. 1 "Water"
My first zine, and the first volume of the Zürich Files serie:
“The summer of 2024… my first in Zürich. After my office job, or on weekends, I walked around hunting for small trophies. Instinctively, I was walking next to water bodies. Perhaps for their calming properties, more likely to see what I missed out during those lost years.
This first volume of what I hope to become a series compiles some of the images I took during those lonely walks. Those walks that helped me stay balanced. Or did I fall?”
Zürich files Vol. 2 "you will also die"
The second iteration of my Zürich Files serie, which prolongs the narration started in the first volume:
During daytime, the Sihlfeld cemetary, Zürich’s largest green space is quite jovial for a cemetary, as many people use it as a park or simply walk through it on their way home. At night, this changes and only the essence of the place remains: a resting ground for the deads. By compiling the images taken in the cemetary with other images shot in Zürich, I ended up creating a claustrophobic exploration of death acting as my memento mori, and perhaps as yours too. Yes, you will also die.
zürich files vol. 3 - "rule of law"
In Switzerland, where I operate, publishing photographs containing a person’s face without asking for consent first seems to be illegal. I therefore asked myself: “What does streetphotography look like, when done in a legal way?”
The resulting work consists in a serie of legal streetphotographs that attempt to generate a broader interrogations about laws and their societal impacts.
